If using parquet is a labour of love then this table was my most extreme upcycled project to date. My original vision was for a pair, I even made two matching tops. There was so much time and hard work in making this table I haven’t yet got round to making the second! I do love the table, but it was expensive in time and parts.
The tabletop is a simple parquet design, rimmed with a black steel edge. Drilling holes in this was a challenge, but it created a nice effect. The frame was made with a web of black plumbing pipe.
This table is so complex with small parts, steel, parquet flooring and pipe it is beyond an instruction manual. I hope you enjoy looking at it. Its partner may arrive… one of these days.
