Last summer I set off to clean the shed and somehow found myself making a bird house. Not the first time I have been distracted from cleaning my hobby workspace.
The bird house was a simple design of six small lengths of pallet wood screwed into place. Once the front and back facing pieces had been screwed together, I cut both pieces to a similar angle, I didn’t measure. Then shortened the side pieces to match and screwed the housing together. The bottom and roof were both cedar shingles left over from when I made my greenhouse. The perch was off a picket fence I used on my wheely bin store. No birds have moved in yet!
