One of my favourite games has always been scrabble. Not because I am good at spelling… far from it!
With our new baby, we have been looking at decorating a nursery and I have been thinking of fun ways to make it different. Having already made an oak chair and a pallet toy box for him, I was interested in doing something he could play with, or put on the wall.
The result was pallet scrabble pieces! With 100 made, like in the game, they can be used to play scrabble, or as blocks, or with magnets used on metal furniture or paint.

I removed some planks from reclaimed pallets. Cut them into squares, sanded and used chalk paint to mark the letters.
